I am an IT engineer turned entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience building businesses - some more successful than others. Along the way, I have learned as much about people as I have about business.

My management style is based on leading by example and treating others as I would want to be treated. I started as a developer and gradually built broader business skills, but I believe my strongest ability is recognizing good people and building capable, responsible teams.

For me, the Managing Director role is best described by the phrase “The buck stops here.” It means taking ultimate responsibility.

I hope people will value me not only for the businesses I have built, but also for the positive impact I have had on their professional and personal development and life.

At this stage of my life, I am also increasingly interested in giving back to society, particularly through animal welfare and broader social issues.

I bring two decades of consultancy experience with an engineering background across various technical areas, roles and sectors, usually wearing multiple hats, having led global delivery teams and large-scale transformation programmes across various industries.

At Bre3ze, my role is to connect the business perspective with everything that we do, making sure it all resonates with the customers we support. I'm focused on experience, quality, and making sure everything we build operates in the best possible way for the people who use it every day.

Beyond the products and services we deliver, I'm responsible for the operations of Bre3ze, making sure everything runs smooth behind the scenes.

Outside of work, I like to stay active, whether that's exercising or just being outside spending time with family and friends.

Over the years, I have worked through a lot of complex technology and business challenges, and I am at my best when there are many moving parts to bring together. I enjoy getting to the heart of a challenge and helping everyone involved see it in a simpler, clearer way so that good decisions can be made.

My approach always starts with the bigger picture: what we are trying to achieve and why it matters. Having worked across development, architecture, delivery and leadership, I am used to seeing both the detail and the wider implications of the decisions we make. That helps me connect business goals with technical reality and bring people around a shared understanding of the way forward.

I tend to take a broad view of responsibility and have high standards for the end result. For me, success is not simply delivering good technology, but ensuring the overall solution works for the customer, the end-users, and the business.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography and spending time in nature, both are good ways for me to slow down, observe and reset.

What I enjoy most about my work is delivering projects with people and seeing something we have built together working successfully in production. For me, the best result is when the customer is happy, the users enjoy using the solution, and everyone involved can see the value of what we have created.

My approach is simple: stay calm, understand the challenge and find the way forward. Projects will always have unexpected situations, but I believe good communication, a positive atmosphere and a clear sense of purpose make a big difference. I want people to enjoy the delivery process, not just the final result.

I am hardworking, easygoing and communicative, and I naturally try to think a few steps ahead while keeping the bigger picture in mind.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, old cars, especially the Mercedes W123, and I am probably more obsessed with chess than I should be.
